Emily Cox is a professional saxophonist working in the Boston area.  She performs regularly at local venues including the Outpost, Lilypad and Hunneman Hall and has presented concerts at colleges and universities in the northeast United States including the University of Rhode Island, Salem State University and Muhlenburg College.  Ms. Cox specializes in contemporary chamber music and has been a member of ChagallPAC Saxophone Sextet and Mothertongue, a contemporary saxphone duo.  She has been the tenor saxophonist with Pharos Quartet since 2016.  As a saxophonist with a particular interest in new music, Ms. Cox has had the honor of working with composers including Michael Gandolfi, John Harbison, Ketty Nez and Georg Friedrich Haas.
